Today we are featuring Karen Handy, who has published two books about her Great Dane, Vegas.
Karen is local to Wilkes County, and we want to celebrate her accomplishment of her dream to write children’s books!
These books are true stories and teach lessons to children about healthy eating, exercise, and how to take care of our furry friends.
For each book sold between September 6th and September 19th, Karen will donate 20% of the profits to Wilkes Rescue Group. This is a great opportunity to get some cool books for all the children in your life and help rescue animals at the same time.
